Sapindus trifoliatus

Commonly known as the Indian soapnut tree, very common in the deciduous belts of Peninsular India, Sri Lanka and Myanmar. The soap produced from the fruit is used to wash jewels and silk. The fruits are dried and traded as a natural soap ingredient for shampoo manufacture.
